Dunbeacon rewrote its history books on Monday, 1st September 2008, with an outstanding draft of 40 bulls that were much in demand.
The very large crowd saw Stud Producers pay to a top of $18,000 and Commercial Producers to $11,000 on a day of solid bidding producing an outstanding result and averaging $6,550 / head. The bulls sold into northern NSW and went as far north as Eidsvold and Claremont in Queensland. It was terrific to see the continued confidence of cattle producers in the Dunbeacon genetics and the large number of return buyers adding to their breeding programs.
