Dunbeacon Beef - Consistently Tasty

Dunbeacon has again achieved success at the Sydney Royal Beef Challenge Export Class.
Dunbeacon Shorthorns took out the pen carcase judging and the same animals were also placed third in the Taste Test, thus earning a Silver Medal for the second year in a row.
Third place was also achieved in the Individual Taste Test competition.
All of the steers scored high points for fat depth on the rib and rump, fat colour and meat colour. The marbling of the steers was exceptionally good with three steers exceeding the maximum points available with a marble score of four.
The Dunbeacon cattle have showed excellent consistency in this steer trial over the past four years with many of the Dunbeacon sire and dam lines represented.
